Chinowa Kuguri

 I went walking near our shop today. I saw many people creeping through a big ring at the gate  of Heian Shrine.  We call this event Chinowa kuguri. It is held in the end of June for purification.

Chinowa kuguri" is one of popular Shintoism ceremonies. People creep through a big ring made of kaya (pampas like weed).

　　　　To purify our  body and soul for the past 6 months & also for the next .......
You shoul walk through and around the ring to the left and then around and through again to trace a figure-eight with your path. 左ー　右ー　左　♪♪♪   Wishing people's health and good luck ...

When I dropped in our store to check e-mails  there were a lot of customers.. They were from Italy, Lyon(France) and United States. Thanks a lot! I will work tomorrow.

I enjoy looking at Japanese sweets .

the primary kabuki theatre in Kyoto, Japan. It was founded in 1610 as Shijō Minami-za.

Kabuki (歌舞伎）is the highly stylized classical Japanese dance-drama.
